Strangely, the meteorite is quite valuable and you'll be able to collect diamonds if you dig inside it. The hole is several hundred blocks below ground and usually contains lava at the bottom. In this mod, the sinkhole will create a deep and steep hole in the ground that resembles a real life sinkhole.
